Both those discussions are important for the future, Couey's discussion for health and Malone's for basic freedom from manipulation.

He clearly states that Dex was simply counter productive in the trials THEY ran which included another drug cocktail which had a drug similar to Dex in it. He also noted that many of trial subjects were former smokers which affects the toxicity of Dex in that population group.
