She is complicit. In my book, that is worse than being bad. As in good cop, bad cop. No. There are no good cops. No. There are bad cops who do bad things. And complicit cops who know the bad things are being done. And they do not stop them or speak out. They must pretend not to know things, in order to live with themselves. This makes them complicit. This issue with Monica is the same. She is complicit and she pretends not to know things. She deserves nothing but scorn. And scorn she shall receive.

Because of the PREP Act, if she deviates from the Fauci playbook, she loses all liability protection. She can get sued, slandered, her career ended, threatened (and maybe worse). Some, like Malone, McCullough stood up. I notice are they more towards the end of their careers than the beginning and have racked up impressive credentials and probably money. Still, I think I read McCullough is $150,00 in the hole due to the suit with Baylor so even they are hardly impervious. I wonder what you would do in her position.

As I said, she’s complicit. Frankly, none of them have any excuse. They have to pretend not to know things. But they do know things. And that makes her and all like her (which is likely 95%+) pitiful, gutless cowards who are complicit in the deaths and injuries to hundreds of thousands (if not millions) in this country alone. They deserve scorn, ridicule and many of them deserve to end up in prison. .

And I know exactly what I would do. Because I’ve already done it as a lawyer. I can’t provide much detail other than to say I’m no longer a lawyer. But corruption and dirty dealing got exposed and those involved paid a price. I paid one too. A big one. But I’d do it again in a heartbeat. My self respect was worth more than my career or the money. She, along with all her complicit accomplices, obviously have no self respect and no morals. My hope is that they all rot in hell. I have no doubt that they will.

I understand. I, too, had a similar situation and left rather than be complicit. But I have a hard time judging others' choices. You never know what a person's situation is.

Excellent on point one. On point two; I agree that you do never know. But, when you have to pretend not to know things in order to advance the lie (and maybe to be able to sleep at night), and that lie is causing harm and you know it, it is irrelevant what the “situation” is. There are many reasons why the country is on the verge of a total meltdown. All of us have our own lists. But near the top of everyone’s list should be this: most of the politicians, bureaucrats, doctors, bankers, etc., that created the mess are smart people. And they know how to separate reality from fiction. But what they are really, really good at is pretending not to know things. Just like this doctor. She knows the jabs are harmful. But in order to keep her job, or stay out of Twatter jail, or not lose the next grant, she has to pretend not to know. Progressives are particularly good at this. But they are not alone.

Note "the good doctor" protects her own children, but lets the lie thrive for the unsuspecting. In murder cases, accessories are held responsible- it matters not a wit if their excuse is " I only did it to protect my professional interests". Monica knows she is complicit. That she is mincing words to cover up makes it even more heinous.

Exactly. And there are 10s of 1000s just like her. They are all complicit which as you say, makes them as guilty as the ones who initiated the crime. I take comfort from believing that there is a special place in hell for people like her. Those who know, but for selfish reasons choose not to speak, willingly allowing others to suffer in order to maintain their own status. It all goes back to them having to pretend not to know things.

You are definitely not “no one”! 🙂 We need as many on our side as possible but we are having big honesty issues from those who don’t value it. Alex tried to unfairly malign Dr. Malone. This gal is lying to save her career. They have both lost their credibility at the very least.

Good review of the two positions here.

Lol - great summary Dr. A! I've read that entire exchange on Berenson's substack - several times in fact because I found the whole thing so mind boggling but love your "cliff note" version. You know, at some point, folks like Dr. Ghandi will have to come to terms with their own lack of courage and duplicity. Whether or not she is able to face that challenge in an honest way - is only something that she can determine. And great job keeping Berenson in perspective despite his attack on our dearest Dr. Malone!! I've been trying to do the same - so even though I no longer pay for his substack, I still read it every day because I do think he does a great job, overall.

I forgive very easily if I see contrition. Without that, I have a harder time letting things go.

I didn't forgive Berenson because I agree - no contrition and that's not cool. However.....he has been much more honest and accurate in his reporting than almost anyone else - except he effed up royally when it comes to Dr. Malone. And let's face it, Dr. Malone is not a caustic SOB.....but more like our brilliant, kind, caring - best friend, Dad, Papa and bro. We have to get the facts somewhere and I"m willing to bet that most of us reading Berenson have the IQ - emotional and mental, to filter out the BS - as we did with his attack on Dr. M.

I require a modicum of human decency in the folks I financially support. An apology would be the decent thing to do. When Alex does that, I’ll forgive and move on. That’s how I roll. I was a paid subscriber. Now I’m not. 🤷‍♀️

Doctors who resort to weasel words to protect their own interests are no ones, Dr. A. You are essential to this battle. Thank you for what you do.

I agree with your take. She's always been a bit skeptical about some of the prevailing wisdom about Covid. She knows the mRna vaccines are disappointing and much more dangerous than typical vaccines.
