I’ve been researching any medication prescribed to me or my kids, when they were young, for a long time. Now I don’t think I can trust the information I find on the internet.
Dr. Mercola just published how dangerous Cipro & entire family of same drug is. I was prescribed that for a UTI a few years ago and fortunately just had a really bad allergic reaction, not one of the really bad adverse effects. The Doctor never told me how dangerous it was...he might have prescribed it due to other drug allergies, but still no informed consent.
Cipro is a horrid antibiotic!! My surgeon prescribed it after a bladder surgery, and I had a bad reaction - burning like my insides were on fire. He told me to stop taking it after I explained what happened. The black box warnings did not include that as a possible side effect then, only potential Achilles Tendon problems. I did have a later injury - a labral tear (hip) that will not heal. That was not listed as a possible side effect then either. I had to figure out things on my own several years later. Cipro by the way was given to our military during Desert Storm for potential Anthrax exposure. Ever hear of Gulf War Syndrome?

I am feeling compassion for those who listened to their depts. of health, media, government officials and employers that told them to take the injections. Those without any biological science background believed it was for their good and the good of the community. I cannot believe so many in Medical fields went along with it. They were all duped. So much suffering and death results. Toxic, unproven, experimental and deadly is what should be labeled on the vials in big red letters! Pfizer elites and many others need to pay a price for this!

If you read any of the FOIA on Pfizer, you will be shocked how many shortcuts and no studies done before the release of the so-called vaccine (that isn't a vaccine!). They knew of 1291 serious side effects before the shots were even released and never told anyone! How is that not fraud, they knowingly let out a very bad product. And did you know they have done fraud charges before on other drugs!!! They knew a lot and so did FDA and CDC and covered it up because the biden administration own's part of vaccine and it went against the dem's narrative and this admin's narrative. They (this admin. needed a certain number hopefully 100% vaccinated and he was hoping it was before July 4th, remember how disappointed he was that people (not patriots if you don't get the shots!) were not getting them!! Well, do not get any and if you did stop! Do not take more.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. Mine was a terrible rash that took forever to go away.
Bactrim is probably safer for UTIs. There may still be side effects, but they may be less destructive than Cipro.
Edit: Bactrim has been around for 45 years. However, this warning for it surfaced 2 years ago.
