I encourage you to read this beautiful substack, well written in rich language: her media tour about here book 'Facing the Beast', which is based on her Substack essays; Brian (husband) was detained
she is my friend, her husband Brian is a sweet man...beautiful human being...Naomi is a huge asset...she is technically sound...I am honored she is my friend. she was one of the if not the first media who interviewed Risch, me, McCullough...
The letter was beautifully written. It provides a picture of the Netherlands and its beauty, but it is also filled with substance, especially about the Netherlands and the rest of Europe and how they are losing their sense of freedom. Dissident voices are coming up, but not enough (at this time) to change the current narrative. Rather sad.
my late husband spent a lot of time in the NL and was fluent in Dutch...many yrs ago we went for a visit and stayed in the home of a good friend in Zeiden.
Growing up in NYC, visiting Amsterdam had a kind of deja vu feeling due to the Dutch architecture in Lower Manhattan when I was growing up.
The Dutch people used to be tolerant and intelligent and educated, speaking many languages, and prosperous. They are very clean and proud of their homes and businesses.
They also don't like it when you close curtains or drapes and nudity is not an issue lol.
We visited the Anne Frank House, the Rijkmuseum and Utrecht as well.
Tourists think they have to go to the Red Light District which really is like 2 -3 blocks long and to a cafe to get some marijuana. The Netherlands is much more than that. The Red Light District is really full of creeps looking at the girls.
I really enjoyed my time there.
Naomi has written a great travelogue and description of her experiences and I am grateful to her for sharing them with us.
Like water to a thirsty soul in the desert.......a first hand account of the current state of totalitarianism in Holland - a subject of the EU. Reading about Brian's detention is all too familiar to me, as several of my European friends as well as myself, have experienced that BS gestapo detention on many occasions here in the US, in GB, and in Canada. Before 2020.
It all started one sunny September morning over 22 years ago..........
I very much agree with MS Wolf that nations should all exit the globalist EU -from her lips to God's ears.
Naomi Wolf is a fantastic writer. Whenever you've posted one of her stacks, I always eagerly read to the end.
That is a great post, Dr Wolf has changed the course of humanity for the better, not a lot of people can say that!
