Based on what I've seen in our county (Alameda) and others in the Bay Area CA, there has never been a shortage of hospital beds and so no continued real emergency (see link below). They never should have been enacted in the first place.

The % available hospital beds here has never dropped below about 29% of total beds and is mostly above 30% for the past two years. Only 57 people died "of" or "with" Covid in my city of about 100,000 people over a period of 2 years, of which 90% were 75 years and older. Yet we have some of the most draconian jab mandates and masking policies and they are pushing hard in the schools on both. The public are all still wearing masks (still petrified) and some stores are still enforcing the masking even though the State has lifted these mandates. Even though they say 92% of the city have been double jabbed and 57% boosted (as of today). Some of us are pushing back though at the local level.
