Dr. Paul Alexander (academic scientist) is former COVID pandemic evidence-synthesis advisor to the World Health Organization (2020) and former senior pandemic advisor to the White House at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

At the onset of the pandemic, Dr. Alexander advocated for the targeted protection of the elderly while keeping the economy and schools open.
