You should discuss this with Dr Malcolm Kendrick (recent book "The Clot Thickens"). He often mentions damage of the glycocalyx with respect to cardiovascular disease in general.
I am not a doctor or a professional in any of the medical profesions but your possible explanation for the increase in heart problems etc. post vaccine blew my mind away. I have always been fascinated by the miracle of the human body and your description of just one of its functions just amazed me. I will read your article a few more times because this really resonated with me and I would like to have a better understanding of your hypothesis. This has basically been Prof Sucharit Bhakdi's position since clotting issues were very first reported. He warned the European Medicines Agency (EMA) of this in Febriary 2021. He doesn't specifically mention the endothelial glycocalyx, but that's maybe in the interests of simplifying the presentation of the mechanism to a non-medical public. He explains it very clearly.
