Assuming the study isn't another psy-op to convice people that the smart thing to do is take the shot (which is probably the case):
Correlation is not causation, but demands investigation.
For a reason, the studies hid the IQ distribution of those who didn't vaccinate: it could be the opposite, where the higher IQ don't take the shot or an inverse normal curve, proving that it's not about IQ but something else.
Before reaching a high level (125?) the higher the IQ, the higher the enslavement in regular jobs: they were mandated or near-mandated the shots under penalty of losing the job or a promotion. Under our modern slavery system, more IQ equals more compliance, independently if you agree with the shots or not.
Another flaw of the study is that those compliant were never asked the level of pressure to take the shots, and which of those "nudges" (brutal pushes, in fact) were most effective: we'd be surprised by the answer. Most probably the highest IQs had the highest pressures.

I earned a BS Business at a major university in 1982 following a stint in the military. I learned there that the sheepskin was was a door opener, however the education left much to be desired. Critical thinking was not rewarded, conformity on the other hand IS rewarded.
I suspect that IQ and education level may not be that tightly corelated. Education and indoctrination level ARE rather tightly corelated based on my personal observations.

PhD EE here. I work at a lab affiliated with MIT. We're about 50% PhD's. Everyone ran to get the jab. Majority got it before the mandates came down. Eventually rose to 97% got jabbed. I was appalled but not surprised.
Two good friends, very smart, were true believers even before the jab. I said the bug isn't that deadly, there was immunity in the population. Said I study reports from doctors at big universities like Stanford. They jumped on me, "Scott Atlas?", then cackled "You must watch FOX news, ha ha."
In early 2021, another PhD friend asked me if I got my second shot yet, wanting to compare reactions. I told him I didn't get the first. Change subject!

A very close friend of mine, was a co-Sr. Director in a start up when convid hit. He was a moderate Republican, which is edgy in the Silly Valley. Wife is an architect, both white, smart, Stanford sorts, with nice, white kids. He was the first person I had met to wear a mask, he even put one on before the damn Indians in the company! We drove to lunch one day in March, 2020, before our office closed, and he had the fucking mask on. He is extremly scientific, IQ in the 5 z scores above the norm realm. I explained the porosity of the masks, the size in angstroms of SAR type viruses.
He looked at me (put his shitty Tesla on auto-drive!), and took the mask off. "AC, I know the mask is retarded, and Leftists are idiots. BUT, I am heavily invested in this SYSTEM. If they tell me to wear 5 masks, I will." It remains, the most sobering and horrific thing about all these years of convid supplicants, killing themselves. There is a good note to his story though. he took the first two jabs, I think Moderna. he felt horrible, and he admits he is less sharp. His wife (Northern Kalifornia born and raised) is a bitch. She pressured him to jab his kids. I know the older boy was 8 back then. he told her he would divorce her. He never took boosters, and he even fought with her, big pussy that he normally is, not to get her boosters. She did. I hope she dies.
I hope she doesn't die. I don't think she deserves that for making a few stupid decisions. Some of the nicest people I've met are low IQ. Then he marches forward with the crowd singing "The Internationale," ready to begin his new life as a communist, much like what also happened in the former East Germany where many Nazis built new lives as communist officials.
