Trump has to do whatever is in his power to close the border and deport all criminal illegal aliens. But it has to be done within the confines of the law. There are many laws on the books that he can use to accomplish that mission.
Why is Trump defending and protecting johnson? Here's a thought, If the republicans get rid of johnson and he quits, he'll give control of the house to the dems. What will be the first thing they do with that power? It's already in the works. jaime ratskin has already drafted legislation proclaiming Trump is an insurrectionist. They will leave him off the 2024 ballot. In that case the world loses. Trump has to keep control of the house for that reason.
Better yet, let's deport DC first! The whole lot of them! We are better off with no government than a corrupt one. Admittedly there will be some logistical problems with this proposal, but nothing we, the people, cannot overcome. It was done once, it can be done again.

The signs of an impending recession are pretty solid but it's actually worse than that. The US appears to be headed for stagflation. A recession is much easier to manage economically than stagflation.

Biden has already lost the US arab and moslem vote over his support for Israel. Those voters will abstain from voting or will vote for Stein or West. RFK Jr is a very strong supporter of Israel and Jewish voters, who predominantly vote Democrat, will flip to him. Other Democrat voters will also flip to him.
In recent days, as the trajectory of the economy has become clearer, Trump,who is too smart to count his chickens before they have hatched, has recognized the threat posed by RFK Jr and has stepped up his attacks on him on Truth Social. Trump has attacked RFK Jr over RFK Jr's position on vaccines and on other matters. There is a risk that this could lose Trump votes from voters who are opposed to the jabs. Trump has also said that he would prefer Biden to RFK Jr. There is a risk that this will make RFK Jr look more attractive to Democrats who hate Trump.
RFK Jr will be hoping that Trump does not outsmart him by choosing Tulsi Gabbard as his running mate, which would be a big negative for RFK Jr if he was to do so.
Biden is doomed. The only question is can Trump stop the rise of RFK Jr or is he doomed too.
