Got to wonder why. Could it be that the school over-sexual programming might be recorded? Or perhaps the recording of woke teachers verbally abusing Christian or Muslim students when they and their families do not wish to participate in the Alphabet cult or their practices in schools? There has been 2 recordings of this in recently in Alberta, Canada. If the woke agenda was not there or the heterosexual discrimination, I would agree with the removal of cell phones. If only they would stick to the basic curriculum and healthy arts.
I have always stated this when cell phones came out- there is NO WAY IN HELL a child needs these at school. Never ever did I need one growing up and got through the school day just fine without it. Even high school! Survived just fine. So sad seeing all of this evil intent happening- but has been cleverly designed by the PTB to make our kids indoctrinated- sickening

All we saw is from kids using to videonon their phones from inside class. Thats all we have!! Now tgey say kids make stuff up. No more videos. This is scensoring classroom journalism by pupils.
Trying to teach while teenagers are texting each other under their desks and sniggering all day was quite aggravating and students suffered poor results.
The way I slowed the texting and meme flicking down was to hit them with spots tests that formed part of their final result.
That kept the little gremlins on high alert and then they excelled.
This was TAFE not schools and their real futures depended on true life learning.

The students will likely still be exposed to massive 5G radiation within school buildings and surrounding areas.
I agree with Thinking Mama Bear. I have a feeling it's not for the kids benefit but rather to prevent recording of events that might upset parents.
