In reality, though, this is shaping up to be a carbon copy of how the Epstein mess was handled.
They have a book identifying all sorts of powerful people who were involved in sex crimes, and Ghislaine Maxwell to cut a deal with to corroborate those powerful people's actions and take them down. Instead, they convicted her, threw her in jail, and the people in the book aren't even being investigated let alone charged.
Now, they have this guy SBF who can be used to identify which corrupt politicians benefitted from the billions of dollar he was throwing around. Instead, they will throw him in jail, make a big deal about the crypto and financial fraud aspects of the case, and not even investigate where the money went.
It's even more galling when you remember that the special counsel on the Madoff case recovered much more money for the victims than expected by clawing it back from the people who benefitted.
