My blood test confirming the disease, and the prescribed antibiotic doing its beneficial work....I did a bit of internet look-up on the disease, the rather sudden arrival of its existence. So, all that was then. But recently, having come round to seeing many things which, though in plain sight, I had never seen before, I wondered if Lyme actually had come out of a lab. And yes, the deer can, and do, and have been observed to, swim across the channel from mainland.
I do not believe in gain of function. It's just an invented term used so that these putrid labs and the research rats who work in them can get funding by pretending they are doing serious work.

It was done in model genetic organisms like yeast and fruit flies. It is how we uncovered the cellular signaling pathways and so much more. So do not use a broad brush.
