Can file USCIS Form I-601 to get a waiver based on religious or moral grounds. However, last year it cost about $1000 for submit that form and no guarantee it would be accepted. USCIS has expensive fees to cover much of their expenses. Very inefficient of course, likely so many working from home (lol).
We had some Mennonites do this and probably went through. Said that their religion forbids vaccines.
Don't know how things would work under Trump, once they start with revisions.
If we check the waiver box, but applicant doesn't separately submit Form I-601 with payment, the assumption is that Medical exam would be rejected.
The main issue has always been the Covid Vaccine, which has now been eliminated.
Also, can do a blood test for MMR, Varicella and Hepatitis B.
If all 5 are positive for antibodies, that only leaves a Tdap and Polio, besides Flu, all of which are pretty mild. If have record of childhood polio series, don't need IPV. Can avoid Flu by waiting until April.
