Is this balloon like the one which was a white tube with blank ends which was flying along at a good speed without any obvious means of propulsion? A US fighter tried shooting it down, but it dodged the fire, so the pilot used a missile which did the job instead, it spiraled down towards the ground, but when ground check teams tried to find remnants of it, it was nowhere to be found - probably appearing to be damaged was a ploy, to escape, contents and all, without further examination - if the fighter aircraft had followed it down?
