If you look at size of virus molecule and the structure of EVERY DAMN MASK (even gas masks, N95 masks) you would see the virus passes right through the filter. Virus molecule is microscopic! If some sort of viral particle exists, the fact that it is smaller than mask filter size does not mean it will not be filtered.
