America has strayed far, far away from the Founders vision of what she would become Paul. As a result we haven't won a single war since the war for independence. Having said that, I do agree with you that she's well worth fighting for and when we win this final war perhaps America can then get her priorities straight and go forth to become our brothers brother and not our brothers keeper. Am over 80 and have watched the deterioration of respect, or even basic civility in my day to day life. The BS my mother put up with, because she was an immigrant, is nothing in comparison to today. We never locked our doors. Central NJ was safe then. Schools taught the basic reading, writing and math. Competitive sports were fun. Lived through WWII, Korea, Viet Nam. Nothing like this.

Instead he promotes bigotry and repression of those who disagree. I happen to support the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and all they are intended to support and that includes the Founders understanding that society changes and that democracy needs to adjust to those changes within the founding principles.
