Dr Paul - My father was the most common-sense Christian I have ever met. He actively pursued following Jesus in the real world sense of practical, applicable Christian beliefs & virtues. Both he & my mom had up until age 32 & 34 a mental understanding of Jesus Christ. They lived the social gospel (live a good life & you have hope of heaven). Then one day after leaving their socially acceptable, but, spiritually dead church they went to a Bible-believing, teaching church & really “heard” the wonderful gospel news that Christ is a “personal” Saviour. He became real to them in their hearts, not just a ritual.
I was born a couple years later & was reared in a genuine Christian home & saw my parents walk the talk. In my worldview - IF America is to survive the coming tsunami of brutal ruthlessness & devastation by demonic evildoers among us - it behooves each one of us individually to make the marvelous freedom-of-the-will choice to get right with the one true God of heaven & earth & His Son & to invite His Spirit to guide us into the light & outside of this darkness. And to stand for His truths as revealed in His marvelous word. We are to be Christian “soldiers”. Do not lose hope.
