As I always write on these topics, the best way to achieve a healthy weight and many other well-being goals is to do the following:

1) Eat _real_ food, including plenty of animal-based products and natural oils (like ghee and olive oil).

2) Avoid sugar, corn syrup, and most other natural and artificial sweeteners.

3) Avoid processed foods, especially processed carbs and seed/vegetable oils.

4) Stop snacking and investigate intermittent fasting.

5) Get plenty of fresh air and sunshine, while avoiding sunburn.

6) Exercise moderately.

7) Sleep long enough each night.

8) Find non-drug and non-alcohol stress coping mechanisms that work for you.

9) Pray.

10) Communicate with friends.

11) Consume fermented foods like natto, kimchi, sauerkraut, Greek Yogurt or Icelandic Skyr...

12) Take supplements like C, D3, K2... if you think you're not getting enough from real food.

13) Eliminate the need to take _any_ Big Pharma products for _chronic_ conditions.

Four years ago, my driver, very overweight, told me that he had been given Ozempic for his diabetes. I told him to get off of it immediately! Next thing I knew he was dead. They found him slumped over in his car. He was in his 30s.

Sadly, he's off it, but not in the way you'd advised.

Yeah, in this case they failed to create their ideal drug: (1) pretends to treat a chronic condition (2) creates side-effects for which they have other drugs (3) doesn't quickly kill the patient

I'm still stuck on you have a driver. Cool. Sorry to hear what happened to him. I didn't even know Ozempic was around four years ago.

Yes, it had just come out and I had done the research. It was a once a week shot. Once you took it that was it. Now finding out that the Depo Provera shot is responsible for my daughter’s breast cancer!

I understand it. Those of us who are overweight, myself included, if there was a magic pill that could take away my appetite I would take it. Except that too is misery. In truth the magic comes from eating less and moving more...which many of us pretty much know.

Actually "eating less and moving more" is a great result but not an effective approach. When I pursued the approach that I mentioned in another comment in this Substack post, my between-meal hunger plummeted and my in-meal appetite skyrocketed, yet I didn't feel the need to eat more than one plateful of food at each meal, and I could skip half my breakfasts.

My weight is about 10% down from when I started this approach, while enjoying food much more. At the start I was at the upper end of "normal BMI", for what little that metric is worth. I pursue the approach not for weight loss, but for metabolic health and all the incredibly wonderful side-effects of getting off ALL meds for chronic conditions.

Individual mileage may vary.

The problem is that eating less can lead to plateaus, and during those times you have to get creative and not be discouraged. For instance, I think finding a way to reward yourself for good behavior in ways other than food is a good way to approach things. I was thinking that to marinate in the accomplishment of certain milestones is one of those things to do...like reveling in not being winded from climbing a flight of stairs, or enjoying improved mental capacity...or sleeping better at night.

At times before bed I am quite hungry...but know once sleep takes over...the impulse to sleep supersedes my desire to eat. That's me though. Also, I enjoy not feeling fatigue and brain fog after eating too many carbs and other things.

I'm sorry for your daughter's preventable Breast Cancer.

I recommend this book that provides 100% proof of Depo Provera causing Breast Cancer (plus a lot more info on the ignored causes of Breast Cancer). Merke had the data and proof from the out of the USA drug trials it did cause Breast Cancer and hid it from the FDA when they applied for approval for the drug in the USA. Even after the release of Depo Provera in the USA and this data became known, guess what the FDA did? They did nothing knowing Depo Provera was killing women. They decided once again that killing women was secondary to preventing pregnancy or killing babies.

Hi Paul:

I have expertise in this area of Gastroparesis.

I have not seen it being written about and this may be the first time that it is being discussed.

There is the distinct possibility that the COVID Vax or the Bioweapon itself damaged the Vagus Nerve and caused some component of these people's gastroparesis - meaning they had subclinical problems with Gastroparesis prior to taking "Ozempic" type drugs. Subclinical Gastroparesis is not an uncommon problem. The addition of these "Ozempic" type drugs converted them to "Overt" gastroparesis.

I've seen many many patients on Ozempic over the years, and never have seen any permanent and severely effected patients with Gastroparesis caused by Ozempic. This phenomenon of gastroparesis with Overt Permanent and Severely damaged patients makes it obvious to me that there are contributing factors. I am especially interested in the literature that demonstrates the Vaccines damaging the Vagal Nerve. This Vagal Nerve Damage IMO is not being diagnosed appropriately.

It takes critical thinking to really dissect the purposeful use of any drug. Most people have already suffered brain damage from the use of big pharma drugs since childhood or early adulthood. That is why they crave more and more without a smidgen of remorse.
