Thank You, George! For bravely going into harm’s way, on our behalf, hoping, I’m sure, to find your country in better shape, than when you departed it.

‘Our obligations to our Country never cease, but with our lives.’
‘Facts are stubborn things: and whatever be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they can not alter the state of facts and evidence.’
‘Liberty must at all hazards, be supported. We have a right to it, derived from our Maker. But if we had not, our fathers have earned and bought it for us, at the expense of their ease, their estates, their pleasure, and their blood.’
John Quincy Adams
America’s Second President
Ushered in, and penned America’s Declaration Of Independence

The serious things in life had not occurred to me, until I realized that ‘we’ are slipping down that slippery slope.
Nobody to blame but me.
But today is the beginning of the long journey of hope that paradise might yet be regained.
