Peter Hortez is the chief culprit and he is doing a Gates there — he’s playing with Novovax and a modification of it on Indians; he wants a Nobel for his Weinstein/Bill tactics of sticking things into people. On top of it, well to do Indians have been coming up and getting vaccinated with AstroZeneca — it is not made in India like the alternative and must be good because it is made in the West. The push is huge and the belief in vaccinations among educated people is so much that they would be labeled right wing for their almost religious beliefs in vaccines. A few famous people died in 2021. That has had a pull back effect but educated trust what they have read in books, even if it is a typo (this is the educational system that British used to keep the population from asking obvious questions about freedom).
The sheeple in India, the bribed politicians, and the pharma mafia, have made sure that India is no different from here. I suspect the huge delta wave in summer 2021 in India may have had something to do with AstroZeneca administered in spring 2021.

I believe it is so set. Yet the challenge with this is if there is a push to vaccinate, it is the mRNA that is devastating yet I argue all of these as all have same end game of spike. This is what I find confusing about the claims that injections create non-binding antibodies and outcompete the natural ones. If non-binding antibodies flood the system *after* the body has seen Covid in some form — may be even in passing because of low strength viral exposure as may have happened in India and Sweden — will the spike protein wreck the immune system as the hypothesis surmises will happen when one is given an injection with no Covid exposure? Also, I thought I read some papers in the recent months where taking injections after Covid infection is not a good thing. If this is true, both (infection as well as exposure to low dose covid in offices and buses) are Covid exposures and you’d expect their immune systems to be shot.
Put another way, if what I said above is true, both Swedes and Indians are sitting ducks when Omnicron figures out how to get into lungs, a la alpha variant.

I am not so sure about this. According to the Google data, 64% of the population have had two doses.
The question now is whether it matters if you get injected before or after an infection. Maybe the vaccinated population still has a higher neutralizing capacity since many of them were infected prior to vaccination?

At the start of December 2021, there was only about 32% of the population vaccinated, so it seems possible that could have also been a factor in avoiding the 2022 surge. Though I’m skeptical on the efficacy of the vaccine at any point (and the safety too but that’s another matter), there is data to potentially indicate that is really is effective at preventing infection initially. Maybe that helped mitigate the 2022 numbers we’re seeing in most of the vaxxed world. Though I personally doubt that alone would explain the massive discrepancy. I do think, as you allude to, that the immunity acquired by prior infection pre-vax is the driving factor here and that getting infected post-vax basically destroys the protection that should be provided. Hard to make any sweeping conclusions though, as every country has slightly different testing protocols and I’m not at all convinced that these alleged “variants” are even creating the same disease, despite it all getting labeled COViD-19. It will be interesting to see if India starts to mirror the pattern of other countries if/when the next “outbreak” occurs (which may be in part a vaccine-driven illness).
