Paul, I wonder if you’d feel differently about Israel if you knew about the USS Liberty and that they, with the help of certain elements within the US government, did 9/11. And that’s just for starters. Israel is NOT what you think it is. Most of the people may be good but, like Americans, they allow their government to commit all sorts of atrocities in their name.

If Hamas represents a small percentage of the Palestinians then the good people of Gaza will fight Hamas and then if they did that the world would supposedly fall all over them as great people for fighting evil and investment and freedom would come rolling in as a reward.

Hamas knew full well what the response to their action would be, and also that they would have limited success. A terror action, but little chance of destroying Israel. Bringing on the retaliation has to be part of their plan. They had to know they would be levelled. What is coming next? Maybe they are just very unwise?
