Even if we agree that the initial vaccination may make catching covid less likely for kids (I don't based upon anecdata and data), it sounds like they ended the study before it might have started heading into negative efficacy territory. Is preventing this mild variant really so crucial that we're willing to compromise our children's ability to fight future variants? Anyone who works with young children knows the hospitalization stuff is all a scare tactic; this is very mild in healthy children.
