Thankyou for explaining the innate immune system with such clarity. I think every parent of a young child should know and understand how this works. I've been aware of the innate immune system for years but never really understood how it worked. I was fascinated by the fact that the vaccine induced abs dominate the defense attack leaving little to no room for the innate system to learn, experience and protect. In other words it crowds them out. So eventually would this precious and functional immune system become redundant. Could we as humans, possibly lose this amazing feature of ourselves? I was born in 1950 and had the very few vaccines that were available. Consequently I caught chicken pox, mumps, german measles and red measles. I have no idea why we had 2 different types of measles back then but I do remember the german measles were mild unlike the red measles. When I moved from the city and to a rural setting at age six I missed 81 school days in grade one. I caught everything. I got all these viruses in a period of just over 2 years. After that by around 8 or 9 I rarely was ever sick and to this day at age 72 I can still say the same thing. Did my innate immune system as a child get exposed to enough viruses to make it really strong? I'd like to think so but who knows. Thanks for the post. It made me think.
