Idaho killings suspect Bryan Kohberger was reportedly a heroin addict before he allegedly moved onto the harder stuff, i.e., the rush of pleasure that for sadists may come from slaughtering young women in their beds late at night. Similarly, Dr Harold Shipman, a prolific British medical serial killer was addicted to heroin before he graduated to phoning his female patients to ask if their husband was home and if not when he would be back before racing to the homes of those who were alone to administer a quick lethal injection before returning to work.
