This was largely personal decisions, we knew how to manage our lives; US COVID Task Force policies all failed; Kory et al. were 100% correct on early treatment; what we saw was largely a FRAUD, a lie
I have deep gratitude and appreciation for you, Dr Alexander, and all the Scientists, Medical Doctors and Professionals who are standing together and speaking up. I can not imagine how you are gathering the energy to continue day after day and Blessings that you because it is the only light in all of this darkness for me. I do my best to show people the information and they do not want to listen to me. It is not the same as having different opinions in the past and still having a loving and caring relationship with family and friends. The differing responses to Covid-19 and vaccines has fundamentally changed deeply rooted relationships in my life and I think in many. I have lost relationships with people I continue to love and care about. I must move on and make new connections as I stay true to myself and my core truths. Back in March 2020 I never imagined relationships would forever change because of different choices. We are losing the action of critical thinking in our citizens. Too many of the people I know will not listen to Professionals with highly informed and educated knowledge and guidance. One of the things that hurts me the most is the comment I often hear. "There are not that many people being hurt by the vaccines".....they think the information is exaggerated and I have no idea what they are basing that believe on. Thank you again Dr Alexander.
I printed out the article John Ioannidis published in Stat March 17, 2020 to keep for my kids. I have dozens of articles including plotting the projected hospital load in NC against the actual one (the estimate around March 24th was over 40,000 in the hospital in NC with Covid by April 20, 2020, while the actual was under 1,000).
At the time I thought Ioannidis was being dystopian. I trusted his math, which turned out to be 100% correct, on the death rate. Based on that I though it insane that we would destroy society and children over a not very dangerous virus with risks so highly correlated with age and comorbid conditions. I was right to trust his math. Wow was I wrong to question his political concerns........
They’re continuing to fail us - for purpose. Unfortunately it’s going to get much uglier. I sincerely appreciate your valiant efforts Dr Alexander. Hope things can turn around.
