Children and teens are highly impressionable and easily led. If minors can't drink alcohol, they shouldn't be allowed to get radical, life-altering, growth-compromising, health-endangering, immune-system-damaging, body-scarring operations, hormones and drugs. All involved must be prosecuted as criminals - doctors included. Leave kids alone.
Dr. Alexander, The ‘reform criminal justice’ crowd advocates reforms that any perpetrator of a violent crime should not be charged with a felony murder if under the age of 25 because, it is argued in some circles, their brain is not developed enough to grasp the far reaching impact of their decisions; while on the other hand the woke medical/psych/pharma community asserts any child regardless of age has the maturity to make life-altering changes to their body/future health. Where is the criminal justice protection for actual children/juveniles?
I think it's critical and long past time to criminalize ALL transgender policy, hormone blockers, opposite-sex hormones, cross-dressing in public, use of restrooms and locker rooms (for changing before and after sports) by the opposite sex and, most importantly, "sex-change operations" for ALL PEOPLE.
Pretending that waiting until the age of 18, or 21, or 30 is "acceptable" only prolongs the nonsensical debate that "transsexualism" is a valid psychological outlook best "cured" by mutilating the patient's body to give him or her the mental "illusion" of having become the opposite sex. This can never happen.
It's nothing more than a money-making scheme based upon exploiting mentally unstable children, their parents, and adult individuals who bask in the attention and lifelong treatment their mutilated bodies will require -- unless they kill themselves first, for lack of PROPER psychological treatment.
