It's been a spiritual battle from the garden of Eden and has intensified over the past few years and will continue to accelerate. Our nation is overrun with demons. Thankful that God is sovereign, has His remnant and is equipping them. If you are NOT reading the Bible, start. It will help you understand the days you are living in and appreciate the fact that this is the God appointed time for your existence and that you need to be searching for His purpose in it.
A must have book for those that read the Bible is The Two Babylons, by old timer Hislop, buy the large print. Hislop's excellent research shows the continuity of all Pagan religions with the original source being Noah's oral history as taught to his children. Not about Noah teaching the wrong, but simply that all cultures became corrupted and simply used Noah's concepts (later taught again by Moses) as leverage for power elite networks within each culture. We note the recent AI construction that was immediately linked to demons and destruction of peoples. Secular cultures are really never secular.
I'm sorry but not even a biblical worldview will be sufficient.
Assent to certain doctrinal statments is NOT ENOUGH. it only describes the skeleton of saving faith but is not saving faith itself
in the New Testament saving faith is relational, not merely propositional. for to be saved we must have the Holy Spirit ( Romans chapter 8) and be led by Him. Without this (abide in ME He said) we have nothing but doctrine and law - ie dead letter
And, besides, to the carnal mind ( you should know what that is as part of your biblical worldview) the things of God, ie the Bibilcal worldview, are ridiculous to the carnal mind
As for believing in God, to paraphrase st James "you believe in God? GOOD!!! So does Satan and he trembles"
God is absolute sovereign Lord. He is not a bookend to a clean living moral patriotic life, which are abominations in his eyes for even our righteousness is filthy rags to be repented of.

if you take the Bible seriously you will look for the verses I refer to. you should already know them but if you dont the search will do you good.
Conservatives are at their weakest when it comes to talk about God
theonly credit i extent to leftists is that as atheists they do not use God's name so they do not misuse it.
But conservatives misuse the Holy Name time and time again by making Him, Holy and Terrible, a justification for their aims and views.
you might be misusing the Name of God? go search the Bible and see if you do.
if the bible is the word of God and God is real then to become aware of such a sin to repent of it will make a huge difference.
the sad truth is that as Jesus said, "strait is the gate narrow the way and FEW there are who find it" (ie himself in personal one on one relationship. most who cal themselvse christians simply are not.
It's important to be a strong, independent man who takes care of himself and the people he loves. If your family or your church interferes with this, then leave them. Same thing applies to your country.
When my late father abandoned my mother and me when I was a junior in high school, he made the first two strikes by stopping dragging me to the church across the street from my home and broke up the family. Since I am the sole survivor on his branch of the family tree, I'll have to wait until I join him on the other side to know what drove him to drag me to church before my step-mother rehabilitated him into a born again Christian.
Problem is protestantism has destroyed the communal necessity of the Faith Jesus Christ established through His Church. For too many it is "Jesus, me, and the bible", which means each individual's interpretation of what they think a group of authors meant. So they apply their own 21st century lens on those seperate writings, rather than use the teaching of the Church Christ established. They pick and choose scripture, and avoid the uncomfortable ones due to their preconceived notions of what was "really" meant. They act no better than the Democrats who wail against things they don't like and try to read into the constitution things that weren't there [as evidenced by reading the writings of the authors of the federalist papers and other writings of the time by the founders]. Protestantism does the same thing. They ignore Church history, the history of how the Canon of scripture was set, the history of what was written and when and the authority of the 1st century Christian leaders. They think that the book magically appeared, forgetting the Church's authority, guided by the Holy Spirit. They think saying that they are "people of the book" is the same as being people "Of the Word" made flesh. Unity can't come from disunity. "Jesus, me, and the bible" means everyone goes around thinking they are their own authority. Its rebellion. We are just now seeing that rebellious thinking culminating in the incredible amount of fracturing going on now. And in the secular world we see that evidenced in the republican party where there are almost as many apologists for corrupt behavior that Christ's Church has always taught as disordered, as can be found in the Left. Disobedience to God's intended structure is what started this whole thing with Satan at the original Fall. Humans have just adopted the same attitude of "non servum" through a lot of willful blindness.
