Thank you Jonathan Turley.

This should’ve been done a long time ago! There’s overwhelming evidence of fraud and corruption by the DOJ and the Biden regime of misfits! Kevin McCarthy needs to channel his inner Nancy Pelosi! These spineless controlled Democrats aka RINOs make me sick

Stay skeptical is right, and in light of his absolving the Biden cabal to foster uniparty support for his campaign makes it all the more so, at least for any who were seriously considering him.

With a mere 13 million viewers watching the debates vs Trump/Tucker at least at 239 million as of 10 hours ago according to the Daily Caller it's not likely any of them have a chance anyway.

He's doing a good job. He's drawing support away from DeSantis. When he drops out he'll endorse Trump.

Good analysis.

It could be that Smarmy 'Swamy is hoping to get enough attention to be considered as running mate. (I don't support the idea. I consider 'Swamy unstable, naive, and inexperienced. And I don't see a lot of capacity for political maturation. It's a personality defect.)

It's probale that you're correct about what he's hoping for. I think he's very talented but insincere and I don't think he's the ideal choice for running mate. There are good reasons why in many political parties around the world succesful candidates on the left choose deputies from within their own party, or even from outside thier party, on their right and successful candidates on the right choose deputies on their left. It's a unifying strategy. DeSantis is seen as having tried to outflank Trump on the right and it's been a losing strategy for him. That's partly why I support RFK Jr or Tulsi Gabbard for running mate. The important thing is that Trump is in control. Trump is of the right and in the dominant position over his deputy. It is not necessary that his running mate is equally of the right. Obviously, by "to his left" I do not mean "far left." They need to be conservative but not necessarily equally as conservative. This is political realism and is about winning. He does not need a deputy who will try to upstage or outflank him on the right. He needs someone who will draw in additional votes.

I agree this is the correct, time-honored strategy.

I just don’t see RFK Jr. settling for second fiddle -- nor do I see him and Trump even sitting down for lunch together. They don't seem compatible at all.

It will depend in part on whether RFK Jr secures the Dem nomination and if he doesn't on whether he prefers to run as an independent. That will depend on whether he calculates that he can win as an independent. If he concludes that he can't he will most likely either seek the VP position or Secretary HHS. Alternatively, he could run anyway to try to throw the election to Trump. He's a real wild card. If he runs in any capacity, he's a massive threat to Biden and, potentially, if not his running mate, also to Trump.

V has some background problems, for sure. So did Ron when he appeared to support the Dominion lawyeress. We waited, and now we know that Ron has serious problems of integrity when he revealed his support for the rigged 2020. The problem with democracy is that it, like all government inner circles, attract men with the minds of children: their only desire is to seek power.

Not so with Trump. His heart is pure.

WHERE OH WHERE ARE THE GOP STRONGMEN?

Expand full comment

Good question.

The strongest voices are women: Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert. Effective in their statements but still too new to wield the necessary power/leadership in the House.

Why not. The whole world's gone blind already. Let's do deaf and mute too, and nuclear war! They go low we go lower.

Impeachment proceedings demanded a beginning the moment the treachery of RINO Pence revealed itself. Instead the RINO rats gave of Jan 6 co-author Kevin. We must vacate the House and vote in AZ Diggs to clean up the mess created and retained by Kevin back-stabber.

We shouldn't impeach him because he's not the president. He didn't win the 2020 election. He is pretending to be the president. It's a giant fraud. If he's impeached it says he was actually elected. He should be forcefully removed from office and prosecuted for all his many crimes.
