All must be taken on an empty stomach, (1 hour before/2 hours after eating), to be effective. Otherwise, they just break down the proteins in the food in the stomach, and never make a difference in circulation.

A lot of anecdotal evidence, from those who’ve been practicing “outside the big pharma box” for decades, have determined that best results are when taken on an empty stomach. And the use for “COVID” is anecdotal, as well. Sometimes, observations over decades is more telling than a measuring instrument.

But it’s great to know that the instrumental data is being done. We certainly need more of it. And, maybe Natto will work if taken with food. I suspect that the results will be better if taken on an empty stomach. I hope someone does a side by side comparison.

IMO, These enzymes are right up there with ivermectin as curative & preventative neutraceuticals that have been kept obscured from the public, in the US anyway. Nattokinase and Serrapeptase been used for decades in Europe and Japan, and earthworms (lumbrokinase) used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. They're still eating them for inflammation, arthritis & fevers today. Yum.

At least three others belong on the same list: NMN, NAC, and quercetin. The FDA banned sales of NMN as a supplement. Why? So a Pharma company can compound it with another chemical and sell it as a prescription only drug for obscene profits. (This warrants a Congressional investigation).

The use of NAC for Covid was discouraged by Fauci, the FDA tried banning it, and threatened Amazon and other major online retailers into halting sales. Ultimately, the corruptocrats failed, and sales resumed months later. (NMN is also available again but not from major retailers).

Canada has passed legislation to ban sales of all supplements in 2025. A blind, deaf, mute, illiterate 10y old could explain why. We must prevent the same from ever happening in the USA.

Sadly, allopathic doctors in general know nothing about any of the above neutraceuticals. We saw how Ivermectin was blatantly smeared right out in the open. They've been doing the same behind the scenes to others for 100 years.

Sadly, allopathic doctors in general know nothing about any of the above neutraceuticals.

When I told 2 doctors, my GP and rheumatologist that I was taking quercetin, and that it was working well, neither had ever heard of it, and both asked how to spell it. Also, I mentioned nattokinase to my eye doctor and what could do for the eyes, including dissolving microclots that can destroy eyesight (A Vax side effect). She was very interested, but had never heard of it.

So kudos to Dr. Alexander for recognizing these 3 enzymes. Doctors McCullough and Mercola have discussed them in writing and in videos and sell them as supplements. These good doctors are under attack by the powers that be. It's no wonder that allopathic doctors don't waste their valuable time researching alternative, effective treatments and cures.

Great post! Yes, when I heard about attempts to ban NAC during the Covid debacle, I quickly stocked up. Still taking NAC, an excellent supplement!

I stocked up on ivermectin through a pharmacy in India before the FDA got USPS to intercept those shipments. May try again soon ... DayNightDrugs.com --- quality, and far less expensive than in the U.S.

FYI….keep an eye on Senator Durbin: https://www.durbin.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/durbin-applauds-inclusion-of-important-dietary-supplement-provisions-in-bipartisan-senate-committees-fda-user-fee-package. Like we could EVER trust the FDA with anything we take after what we’ve all learned about the intentional withholding of the horrific side effects of the covid jabs!!!

Excellent read! My mom just got off of Plavix and went on to Lumbrokinase. We were trying to decide whether she should be on that or nattokinase and after doing some research, lumbrokinase seem to be a better choice. Your substack proves that!

just remember that you must take it on an empty stomach or you'll puke lol I ordered Doctor Detox Darrell Wolfe fibro which is like Lumbrokinase

I never heard of the empty stomach thing. Usually meds make you puke without food. Interesting!

All three enzymes “eat protein” such as spike protein... but food also contains protein so the dose taken with food become an expensive digestion aid.

i used fibroclear which has serrapeptase i know there's no harm to your buddy from it just that i'm very sensitive

I have a sensitive stomach the brand I have said do not take so many of them if you ate any organ meat that’s why I puked but customer service called told me to take them with little bit of milk and next time I did just that and it worked

Dr Paul, I think this post needs to be re posted every day.

Is there harm or benefit to taking them all 3 together?

Thanks Doc for this valuable, interesting and timely information. Everyone can benefit from this important revelation. I can attest to the fact that this does lower LDL, as recent testing on my person has confirmed. Nattokinase, K2, CoQ10, and grapefruit juice quickly lowered LDL in time for a scheduled test which confirmed the movement of the numbers in the proper direction with no change in diet.

What dose of Nattokinase did you use?

I started taking nattokinase some time ago, wanting to get off the daily baby aspirin my cardiologist recommended after my 2019 open heart surgery to replace my mitral valve. Post-op I developed AFib. I don't have much problem with the AFib, but did have a problem taking daily baby aspirin longterm and knew that nattokinase really has no side effects.

I started taking lumbrokinase not too long ago (thanks, Dr. Mercola!), and am cycling it with nattokinase. Took serraptase many years ago just for its anti-inflammatory effects. All excellent God-given natural remedies!

Thankyou for this excellent stack... one further mechanism in serrapeptase.. that you might not realise..

It removes biofilm... which is like a defence shield for pathogens parasites within the body...

The “film” helps hide from the immune system things you do not need inside you... once the film is breached.. your immune cells “see” the enemy and begin apoptosis...

Also useful for chronic dental issues... again biofilm allows abscesses and cysts to stay inside you resistant to antibiotics...

I wrote to the Wellness company way back saying Lumbrokinase is 30 times stronger than Nattokinase and may do a better job of treating the spike protein. The Chief pharmacist wrote back and said I may well be right. BUT it’s very expensive and difficult to get outside of China. I tried Dr Bests and Dr Mercola sell it on his website.

It also needs to be kept cool. I stuck it it a vacuum flask when I flew.

Serrapeptase is also difficult to handle. It must be taken on an empty stomach else it is simply a digestion aid.

For me the biggest hope is SEAPROSE. Unlike Serrapeptase it is not dissolved by stomach acids.

I just can’t get this in the U.K. or Germany. So on balance for cost and availability I go with Nattokinase right now.

Dr. Mercola has been touting the Lumbrokinase for some time. I’ve ordered it on his website. I’ve never heard of Seaprose. I’ll check it out.

All fine for normal blood clots and such but what about those long, rubbery, whitish things being taken out of people’s blood vessels, post jab?

Still, sharing for normal people.

They’ve also published that it helps the clot shots.

Diet plays a role in all of this. I changed my diet 2 years ago to a pescetarian diet with eggs . After 7 years of ultra sound my last visit to my Vascular Surgeon informed me that my carotid artery had improved remarkably . in addition I have been using Nattokinase and Serrapeptase. Lumbrokinase I would like to try as well

The only disclaimer to this well researched article should be that they are now poisoning nearly all the effective treatments for this modern military grade ailment.

I am currently running at about 50% contaminated meds and supplements. Especially all the heavily propagandized ones like ivermectin , C, D, etc.

Qdots and fibres mainly, but need to culture the "good" 50% to be sure they are really OK .

Take a look at Neprinol which combines a number of enzymes. I cycle it along with Mercola’s Lumbrokinase. Both are great.

In the experiment where nattokinase was shown to be effective against SARS-CoV-2 infected cells how was sars-cov-2 identified? It's never been truly isolated. How was it determined that the cells were infected with this virus?

I don’t know the answer to your question. I do know it knocked whatever I had a few weeks ago right out of my lungs and body. I took until it was completely away and won’t travel without it now.

I don't question that there are benefits to nattokinase. It doesn't agree with me but I alternate serrapeptase and lumbrokinase daily and have for years. I question using a study to promote nattokinase or any enzyme basing it on supposed infectious entities whose identity is definitely in question. I am glad it helped you. I think everyone should be taking one of these enzymes everyday to keep the blood vessels clear.
