COVID face covering masks, blue surgical medical masks and white cloth and similar masks are ineffective, harmful, garbage, junk, did not and will never work for these respiratory pathogen, PERIOD!
Of course it’s unethical to mandate masks. Where is the evidence that it is safe for a person to where it 8 hours a day? There isn’t any, because depriving one of oxygen is toxic.
I was going up an elevator. Unmasked. The rules said to be masked, although exemptions were allowed. I got on with two young masked people. They asked me to put a mask on. I said I don’t wear masks. They asked why. Don’t ask me where this came from but i said ‘I have leprosy and we lepers cant wear masks. The lack of oxygen causes us to rot faster.’ They looked horrified. We are in a 5’ x 7’ can together. I said ‘it’s not such a big deal. I got it in India. I’ve lost a few toes. But my hands are good.’ I stretch my hands out towards them flipping them up and down to show my healthy hands. They melt back into the walls of the elevator. Terrified. The rest of the ride they held their breath and pushed themselves into the walls as if that would protect them. The next time i was going down the elevator and it stopped on their floor they started to step in, saw me, and said ‘it’s okay. We’ll wait.’ Which brought a big grin to my face.
The bottom line for me is this. I believe, based upon learned advice from those I consider true experts, that masks do little to nothing to prevent transmission of covid.
I keep one with me to wear IF REQUIRED to accomplish what I need to do such as pick up a life-saving drug from the pharmacy for a family member. I'm not going to cause a scene over something like this.
People who want to wear masks can go right ahead. I don't think it's a healthy choice knowing what we know now about covid and knowing the limitations as well as the intrinsic harms of masks. But someone with a pre-existing, life-threatening heart condition, for example, may feel safer PSYCHOLOGICALLY wearing a mask, in the knowledge that a bad respiratory disease could be fatal.
However, I bristle when asked to show a vaccine card or wear a mask to attend a symphony performance, for example. I decided to use the pricey ticket charges to purchase recordings instead, rather than support an unscientific authoritarian corporation.
Veterans are denied medical care if they are not wearing a mask in VA facilities.
Box states the masks do not prevent covid.
No critical thinkers in that organization.
Yes sir I saw yesterday that the Cochran report was put out a couple of years ago but it was held before it was allowed to be published? I wonder why?
