Well, I have heard this before so let's see; remember, these boys & girls had the house, the senate & White House with Trump; granted the EUNUCH, Paul 'Benedict Arnold' Ryan' worked to hurt Trump
This is what aggravates me about McCarthy. There are so many detrimental policies/expenditures in the Inflation Reduction Act, why stop at the funding for the IRS? The whole bill should be repealed! McCarthy isn't America First. He's just another RINO/GOPe hack putting the IRS "shiny object" out there to distract. I don't trust him and don't like that he seems to have the Speakership locked up IF the Democrats lose control of the House.
I watched McCarthy, Scalisse and Stephanic( spell?) grinning from ear to ear blathering about all the things “they” were going to do if they win the House.
Sadly, that's a huge part of the problem. The other part I see, as well, voting (if they vote at all) for name recognition rather than voting on qualifications and history. How else could a "bye den" been sent back to the District of Corruption for so many years, then making president. Bitch mc commie is another one. Add in McCarthy, and the list goes on and on.
I think that part of it is our fault. We get them elected and then sit back, relieved, and think that they will just take care of it. For many Republicans, voting is the extent of our involvement, except for some bitching on social media. And honestly, that’s the way it should be.
Washington DC is not supposed to be the center of everything. We should be able to go about our lives without even thinking about DC.
But things have changed, and now we have to be involved unless we want to be enslaved. The Dems and their policies will se to that ....unless we fight back.
We must keep pressure on the Republicans to do what we want.... not what they are inclined to do.
There need to be major reforms.
Maybe, if the republicans win big enough, we can push them into enacting some.
