I like him as well, many of his movies have messages that have been shown to be pertinent as time moves on. I remember back when hollywood tried to demonize him, at the time I kind of believed it, but as time has gone on I have grown to appreciate him. He says things that many refuse to say, deals with issues that many will not touch.

Glad he teamed up with operation underground. They’ve been doing good work for a while. Fighting the evildoers!

If there is any cause that EVERYONE should be able to get behind it is stopping pedophilia and child sex trafficking! That this is even an issue in our world just flips my wig! That some proportion of Hollyweird and our Politicians, the Uber rich Elite, etc. are involved in this nauseates me to no end!!! Glad to see there are some good actors left out in LA like Mel, James Woods and Rob Schneider!!!

Let's hope he's not taken out like Ann Heche. The more they know, the more they talk, they become possible targets. I hope he's very successful in this effort and can publicize it in a way that attracts more US public and private support.

God bless Mel Gibson. He went through hell (some of it his own making), but appears to be a solid guy.

I just heard yesterday that he and Jim Caviezel will be starting filming of the sequel to The Passion. Can't wait to see it.

His movie, The Passion of the Christ was the most powerful movie I have ever seen. I am a Christian and it helped me see the story of Jesus with new eyes. Love that he is doing such a noble thing with his operation underground.

I'm an abolitionist for O.U.R.

Tim Ballard is amazing and Mel Gibson picked the right organization to join.

OUR is one of two I send money to. Hillsdale is the other. As far as Mel’s choice in women... that’s between them, 2 adults.

Whether he knew it or not, and could verbalise it well, Mel is one of the first to spot the shadow of the WEF and elites plan for the west, even though he only uncovered part of the plan... He said it on live TV in Australia... Seriously he's so close to uncovering the plan here in 1987, it's just no one else could see it, and no one knew the plan as much as we do now

I wouldn't trust Gibson from all the things we hear. If his money does some good, so be it. But as a person? I'm very disappointed. If true, being 'nice' needs to start a lot closer to those around him. If true, as bad as the rest of them. We may hear more when he loses power, from those around him not willing to speak up now.

I think you need to read this about Mel Gibson. The people we see on the world stage are all or close to all, relatives of monarchs and wealthy magnates. It's a tight club as they say, and we ain't in it. http://mileswmathis.com/mel.pdf

Mel or Mad Max is an institution here in Oz as much as he’s probably known for his character Martin Riggs in the US. He’s always been a rather polarising bloke, no matter his age, but when he gets it right he tends to go boots in.

I hope he makes good. When he dumped his wife for the Russian babe, he lost me completely.

Fantastic person. I believe he's behind Amazing Grace, the 2006 film on William Wilberforce, a huge driving force to end the slave trade throughout the entire British Empire - accomplished 3 days before his death, after a 30-year campaign - decades before the US abolished slavery. (Few Americans know this!!!)
