The plan was to eliminate the general public's idols, i.e., entertainers, sports figures, and the lot. The idea was to demoralize and weaken gen pop by doing this thereby making them too depressed, broken, and empty to fight off the new authoritarian fascism. What bothers me is that celeb parents are so submissive and silent upon losing their children regardless an Nondisclosure agreement. No balls. It's only about money for them.
