The gay groups don’t want to ramp down their promiscuous sexual activity, but at the same time blame the government for not doing enough? What the hell do these people think the government is capable of, or even suggest they do, when they themselves refuse to make the one change that effects the primary driver?
I really don't know what to say to somebody who feels he has the "right" to have anal sex with 15 other men nightly but is not responsible for the consequences? That somehow, society and government has failed them?
No what has failed them is their lack of appreciation of risk, just like we saw the heroin addicts passing the syringe around when the knew it had been used by a HIV positive member of their "tribe."
Such a stunning display of ignorance is generally corrected by nature, automatically.
Unfortunately, often they involve the innocent and young also in their crash and burn.
Gays are mentally ill, most are also sex addicts, and they should be in treatment for their mental illness to try to return them to normalcy, not enabled by the government to impose their delusions on normal people.
Just imagine if someone said "Society should not have to bear the costs of their un-natural sexual activities."
It wasn't that long ago that we were having these discussions about paying for treatment of head injuries to non-helmeted motorcyclists even if "choice" was still allowed by law.
Shifting the blame directly onto someone or something else is the perfect way to avoid having to reflect on your behavior or delve deeply into your own psyche.
That way you can remain blissfully unaware of your own shortcomings, which can help to maintain a fragile ego.
OK, let me be the devil's advocate. When are people going to be accountable for their own actions? You cannot blame the WHO and CDC and government because monkeypox is spreading.
You would need to have your head 6 feet in the sand to not be aware monkey pox is a rising concern right now so if you engage in risky behaviour it is nobody else's fault but your own. If I am going to share needles and shoot up drugs the risk of HIV etc. is mine and I would have to own that risk. If I have high risk sex and I contract a STI or HIV is this also the WHO, CDC and governments fault?
Governing agencies can issue warnings, cautionary tales etc. etc. but I'm pretty sure after these last 2 1/2 years of government agencies lying, spreading fear propaganda and (intentionally) harming the population, I can say I am not and will not tune in to any government policy or recommendation. Their credibility has flatlined. They have flip flopped on dangerous policies (mask on, mask off, lock down, let you out, lock down, let you out) more than a cook in a pancake house!
