I have to say that from the beginning of this fiasco my mouth was left agape whenever I spoke with my colleagues, some of them mentors, who just refused to give any credence to natural immunity being either the same or better than vaccinal immunity. I have to say that from the beginning of this fiasco my mouth was left agape whenever I spoke with my colleagues, some of them mentors, who just refused to give any credence to natural immunity being either the same or better than vaccinal immunity. Admittedly, early on I could not say natural immunity was better but knew it nonetheless but I recognized we needed to see the empirical evidence (which we have now). It was simply shocking to see academics (even pathologists) toss Immunology or Biology 101 aside and who then told me that all of my concerns about the vaccines were wrong. My concerns related to the narrow and probably short lived immunity produced by the shots. And now we know it's short-lived (at the beginning I didn't know it was as short-lived as we're seeing). I'd also pointed out risks of potential adverse effects related to injections of LNPs and also forcing host cells to produce a foreign protein! Never mind that the protein was the TOXIC spike, but even if a non-toxic *foreign* protein is expressed on host cell surfaces this is going to trigger severe tissue damage and possibly autoimmune problems. The whole concept was a complete fraud.
At one point, my cardiologist spoke of the importance of the "vax", and how it was still needed, even though I had already recovered from COVID (a serious case with myocarditis.) I promptly told her that she should know that natural Immunity is the best...
