Total bullshit article. It reeks of Langley, Virginia disinformation. It's on a par with the evidence fabricated by or on behalf of Bush about Saddam Hussein having attempted to get large quantities of uranium from Africa. It's on a par with COLON Powell's presentation to the UN. The US has form. An epidemiological study published in The Lancet when it was still a reputable journal found that the US butchered up to nearly a million civilians in Iraq. All the alleged "evidence" in Hiroshima of a Japanese nuclear program there was completely destroyed. How convenient. The narrative in this article has multiple holes in it. The US lies repeatedly. It never stops. It lies about jabs. It lied about Hunter Biden's laptop. 51 intel officials or former officials claimed in 2020 that the New York Post article about Hunter's laptop had all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation even though they knew it didn't. Only a few years after the US nuked the civilian cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki the US was committing the atrocities in Korea documented by North Korea in the Museum of American War Atrocities. Only a few years after that the US was committing the Mai Lai massacre in Vietnam. The US chose a civilian city to target to create terror not only in Japan but around the world. It could not have cared less about the women and children of what it regarded as an inferior foreign race. It targetted a civilian city to create world terror and to.demonstrate to the foreign lesser race untermenschen that they were "life unworthy of life" and that US Anglo-Saxons were the master race.

I went to the Imax cinema tonight to watch Oppenheimer.

On a film critique level, I'd say it was beautifully shot, and director Chris Nolan is an accomplished artist in this regard; however, it was way too long, coming in at a run time of 3 hours and could've had at least 30% to 40% excised if the film editor did his/her job properly/had any balls. The lead actor Cillian Murphy - who also acted in Nolan's Inception - did a fabulous job.

To have cast luvvies like Matt Damon, Emily Blunt and Matthew Modine ruined the film partially for me.

The film also lost its way about three quarters way through although it was resurrected in the final 30 minutes.

I'd give it 3½☆ max.

Now, on the score of whether it was to be an accurate representation of fact - well it's a feature film which means it's the director's fictional interpretation, so comments about it not showing certain aspects are just daft.

What is more interesting to me, is why mainstream media has been so taken aback by it?

Is it to be a proxy cautionary tale for Bad Vlad and "communists" vs vassal state Ukraine and uncle Sam?

Because all this navel gazing and appropriating a piece of cinema for a greater cause to me is really the througline of the attention it's getting.

So now let's really deconstruct the money part.

The film had a production budget of USD 100M; break-even at the box office is USD 200M; commercial success is USD 400M.

Gross takings are already at USD 238M so it's on its way. Bravo!!

The luvvies each got paid USD 10M.

The lead deserved it; the others not.

But here's the kicker - more important than the arm's race and the Cold War is that the new Barbie movie has already grossed USD 500M worldwide.

And this ladies and gentlemen is where we are as a civilisation - a total bunch of nitwits.

And why covid, the injection and all the other lockdown measures did not even make a dent in the world population of 8BN souls.

It's all BS.

We're simply wasting our time banging on here until kingdom come.
