Do you want to lose weight and increase your well-being? Try intermittent fasting. I have been eating one meal a day for 3 months and have lost over 40kgs. Not only will you lose weight but your body will eat the bad and damaged cells as food. This is also the cheapest way to get stem cells as your body creates new stem cells to replace everything that it has eaten.

IF is a great lifestyle. It’s as easy as skipping breakfast, eating a late lunch and an early dinner. Or you can skip breakfast and lunch.

I’ve tried lots of different eating windows with the smallest being a 2 hour window. I wasn’t trying to lose weight...I’ve never been over weight - I do like trying different types of diets.

My experience with a 2 hour eating window - you can eat anything you want and you will not be able to gain weight if you’re active. My body rejected crap food - I just had no appetite for unhealthy food with a 2 hour eating window.

Ever since I went low carb and stopped snacking, I've enjoyed all my meals more than before. Typically 4 breakfast-time meals each week are just a cup of water (or occasionally matcha). I enjoy those 4 calorie-free meals quite a bit.

Bingo!

The only way to really burn fat and lose weight is ketosis. There are two ways to get your body into ketosis. Fasting > 12 hours or Delta Ketones, the most expensive, worst tasting stuff, I've ever swallowed but it kicks the body into ketosis IMMEDIATELY! By forcing the body to burn fat for fuel it shuts your appetite down without compromising energy levels.

Delta Ketones is used by the elite strokes of Tour De' France. They did a rather long segment two years ago describing this product that was commissioned by the US and developed in the UK for the American military.

I used it and it worked. I used it sparingly because of it's cost and discovered it actually fired up my body's ability to burn fat for fuel rather than sugars.

To me, the word "ozempic" is a bit like the word "mRNA." It triggers a visceral response and I think with my amygdala. It's like what happens when I hear the word "culture." Whenever I hear the word "culture" I release the safety catch on my Browning.

Try "statins" - deadlier than ozempic, but not even close to the mRNA abominations.

Beta-blockers? Especially when given to those undergoing surgery - estimated (Forbes) that up to half a million Europeans died due to being given beta-blockers prior to surgery.

Expand full comment

Why is that the case with Beta-blockers Karl? What's the problem with Beta-bockers. I suspect there would be a lot of PASC patients who are taking them and reporting subjective benefit?

Expand full comment

Yeah, my understanding is that beta-blockers do genuinely help some people. I wholeheartedly agree that for people who've never had a heart attack, statins do much more harm than good.

Personally I resolved to address my elevated blood pressure with diet and lifestyle changes. It took me almost two years of effort, with many unintended positive side-effects along the way, but now it feels great to see my sphygmomanometer frequently reporting numbers <120/<80.

Nice numbers. I'm glad that hasworked for you. It's the tachycardia with PASC that I suspect is more of a problem than the hypertensiom.

ANW: it is 5th paragraph down from this:

And I misread, it is up to 800,000 possible deaths. I think it was a European 'thing' and only concerns giving people without prior cardiac problems beta-blockers before surgery.

They may well help in other circumstances.

Labetolol a beta blocker can work very well for controlling hypertension in preeclampsia and also people with chronic kidney disease who can’t seem to get their blood pressure down , it can often do the trick . Heart failure and Atrial Fibrillation and other arrhythmias often need beta blockers . So yes it is not for everyone and we have to be mindful that even though the pharma industry has done a lot of misleading work there are also many drugs which can be valuable to a particular person . The problem now is that we have too many check box / protocol following providers and medicine needs to be an art and science . There is a time and place for a treatment.

I can see why people are reluctant to take proton pump inhibitors. As i recall there was a big scandal about Nexium involving PFIZER. Maybe I have trust issues but it seems to me, if you can't trust PFIZER who can you trust? And I don't trust PFIZER.

Hold up! I’m retired from Pharmacy, degrees and multiple experience in the industry. The last 3 years gave really been eye opening as a health care provider.

Wegovy ( Semaglutide) is a miracle drug for many people! Please hold off on the negative side effects, there are a few. As with any comorbidity, there are certain risks.

Do not throw the baby out with the filthy bath water! Covid shots ! Yes! That’s junk science.

Semaglutide has enabled many obese or simply overweight patients to lower their A1c, every blood level is positive! I’ve seen it.

And I’ve used the drug safely through micro dosing which has worked enormously well.

Practitioners need to learn how to dispense and manage this peptide with their patients.

Are you sure of that ten years down the line? Remember Vioxx?

What is wrong with intermittent fasting (only eat in 6-8hr window), and always eating fats before carbs?

Yeah, people would rather eat a pill, and where's the money in intermittent, or any other type of, fasting?

If one wants weight loss and MANY other positive side-effects, why not do the following:

1) Eat _real_ food, including plenty of animal-based products and natural oils (like ghee and olive oil).

2) Avoid sugar, corn syrup, and most other natural and artificial sweeteners.

3) Avoid processed foods, especially processed carbs and seed/vegetable oils.

4) Stop snacking and investigate intermittent fasting.

5) Get plenty of fresh air and sunshine, while avoiding sunburn.

6) Exercise moderately.

7) Sleep long enough each night.

8) Find non-drug and non-alcohol stress coping mechanisms that work for you.

9) Pray.

10) Communicate with friends.

11) Consume fermented foods like natto, kimchi, sauerkraut, Greek Yogurt or Icelandic Skyr...

12) Take supplements like C, D3, K2... if you think you're not getting enough from real food. 13) Eliminate the need to take _any_ Big Pharma products for _chronic_ conditions.

I'm old enough to remember when Statin drugs came out in the 80s. The most obese man at work, nicknamed 4x4, proudly announced one day that he could eat whatever he wanted because his doctor had given him a pill to counter cholesterol. A hush fell over the break room. Then a coworker spoke up and told him that's not how it worked, and why, and ruined 4x4's day.

Patients who are prescribed magic bean-like weight loss pills will do the same. The vast majority won't diet or exercise. They didn't do it before, and a pill won't change their nature. They'll eat as much as they please, gain weight and their health will suffer. But now it'll be a double whammy. They'll also suffer the horrific side effects of the drugs. Their lives will be shortened.

Prior to universal health insurance, cancer treatments would acutely drain vulnerable short timers of all their money right before they died. These weight loss drugs will do the same, but the drain will be chronic over time. And instead of estates it'll be insurance companies and taxpayers that will be fleeced with the costs of the many other new prescriptions needed by those damaged by both useless toxic weight loss drugs, and the net negative health effects of not dieting & exercising to improve their health.

The FDA approve a lot of things that not good... high corn fructose is an example... huge increase in NAFLD in children because the liver sees HCF as a toxin and stores it around itself to protect the body... inositol and choline will reverse it but FDA think it’s safe allow food and drink manufacturers to put it in their products knowing liver transplants in USA increasing year on each year as a result.. do they care? ... what do you think?.. do you even care?

Not to mention that some are already metabolically unhealthy eat large amounts of fruits as the hear the sentence “ eat your fruit and vegetables.” Yes fruit can be a great food but not eating 3 bananas , big bowls of grapes, watermelon along with cereals . People are putting too much fructose load on their liver . Fructose is the sugar found in fruit . A metabolically healthy person can handle some fruit but a metabolically unhealthy person should do more veggies and very little fruit and that fruit should be berries. Berries are packed with antioxidants and have a lower Gi index. Again it’s not a once size fits all but children are certainly consuming way too much fructose that could be setting them up for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease which is a “ silent” epidemic causing insulin resistance and whole host of issues.

Big pharma’s reach is so broad they even advertise on college radio. Advertising prescription drugs should be disallowed. Their products can only be purchased by licensed professionals who aren’t making decisions off those ads. And virtually no one is grabbing a pen to jot down some unpronounceable drug so they can ask their doctor. The ads only purpose is to buy influence in media which makes them uncriticizable in the mainstream. They should be banned like cigarettes.

I hadn't considered that angle before, but you make a good point about the media/PigFarma quid-pro-quo collusion going on.

Seriously, a person would have to be incredibly cognitively impaired to take a drug like Ozempic. I just don't get it. With the large number of very dangerous side effects that are possible with it, how could a person be stupid enough to risk any of that?

Because the sheeple have been led to trust a false god. They have these miracle devices like the phone I’m typing on and are bombarded by the overblown majesty of technology. So they trust their masters. They think nothing bad will happen to them. Look at those happy faces in the TV commercial! The weight of science propping them up. Those PhDs and myriad of watchdog agencies will look out for us. It’s a wonderful time to be alive! Except when your dead everyone will say, too bad, it must’ve just been your time to go. Next!…

My sister is a diabetic (a vaxx injury) using Ozempic to control her blood sugar (it’s the only product she’s tried that works for her. I would like to see her off of it and on to something else, but she ends up in the ER if she doesn’t use it).

The pharmacy often runs out because those who use it for weight loss are so numerous. Diabetics sometimes can’t get it to stay alive.

Again, I’m sure there are numerous better alternatives to Ozempic, but I can’t help but notice it’s part of the cull strategy to keep people barely alive, killing us more softly, and always desperate for it-- nearly entirely unable to get off it because it wears them down so much messing with other body systems, that they may not survive the transition time to superior, holistic therapies.
