The aluminum industry was the winner as it reduced/solved the problem of disposal by selling the poison to cities nation wide as a tooth decay reducer. By the same token, parasitical killers in the body are poisons, but are not regularly taken every day, but only for a short time to kill the pests and then not taken past that time period. The fluoridated water was the same water we wash in, and use copiously daily by hundreds of millions and end up in our lakes and rivers and eco systems.
I note in my dental program that the dentist applies fluoride to my teeth at most twice a year so why do I or anyone need to drink poison in our water? The battles found winners on both sides but now there are few cities without fluoridated water. I note the few without it are being encouraged to add the fluoridation program to their drinking water.
In my case I have a well without fluoride. What about the millions of gallons of fluoridated water per day used in industry, car washes, lawn watering, showers, etc dumped into the environment compared to the microscopic use of a cup of water for teeth cleaning?
The benefit of adding fluoride to the water sees only a miniscule amount of water used to clean teeth with 99% not used for that being wasted but worse, contaminating the eco system. The aluminum production magnates however get not only free disposal but sell the poison at profit to cities,
