Professor Oster is smart, bright intellect, but is way out to lunch on this request; what was done to USA and global societies was monstrous and we thus must investigate and be prepared to JAIL people
This woman pleading ignorance is completely unacceptable: She is complicit in Mass Murder; as far as I'm concerned she merits the Death Penalty along with all the rest of them. The warnings are, have been, widely available on the Alternative Media anywhere you care to look, starting with – in my case – reading on Cryptogon.com how when the "vaccines" were first released in the UK in November 2020, within 24 hours 2 people presented with anaphylactic shock, and 4 more with Bell's Palsy.
Pandemic amnesty? Sure, immediately after you restore the careers and lives of the doctors who got it right! And, discipline the public health officials who abused their positions to silence voices who could have saved millions of lives.

Nuremberg, not amnesty. It is no excuse for any of them to say that they were only following orders. Frail, elderly women were beaten with truncheons and pepper sprayed by thugs on horseback. People were injected against their will after being forced to make false and misleading declarations on consent forms. Athletes are still collapsing and dying on the sporting field and in their sleep.
Seems to me Prof. Oster is really issuing a mea culpa for her own "errors" in advocating coercive methods to pressure and punish those who chose to exercise their rights to bodily autonomy, informed consent, and a rational response to a dubious health emergency that was grotesquely exaggerated to achieve sociopolitical, not fact/data-driven public health, objectives. She is not apologizing for having no shame in having shamelessly called on family members to exert such pressure either. Remarkable bit of self-exoneration there... surely a kumbaya moment will make it all better now.
My civil liberties were trashed, my uncle dead, sister lost her career in health care, nephew has pericarditis, friend has heart surgery, business destroyed. The list is endless just in my little corner of the world.

I believe in the death penalty at first layer (top people) and life imprisonment for the second layer (people at the second level reporting to first level leaders) - In addition, in anticipation for the future, I truly believe we should consider passing legislation to ensure that AI life forms not be allowed to ever rule over humans - such as being elected into any office.
