The non-Western world (ie, most of the world) understands Russia’s reasons for moving pre-emptively into UKR (after 8 years of waiting for sanity, including during the Trump years). But Trump is better than anything else we have on this issue, sadly. When Trump tried to touch UKR during his administration, he nearly got electrocuted, giving Deep Dish Romney for instance the excuse to vote to impeach him (of course the fact that Romney’s useless son also profits in the UKR was not mentioned).
Overall, Trump seems to have good instincts on foreign policy, except as it relates to Israel. But, in regards to big-pharma profiteering and vaccines, Trump is not so great.
