From Dr. Peter McCullough on 6/20/22 appearance on Operation Freedom Channel on Rumble - Dr David Janda

The practical things that we know now is being actively suppressed, is the fundamental efficacy and rationale for virucidal nasal washes. The virus SARS Cov2 is replicated in the sinuses for about 3 to 5 days before It would ever invade the body.

Use a spray bottle or bulb syringe spray 2 times in both nostrils and spit out. Gargle with remaining amount and spit out

IMPORTANT re HIGH QUALITY NASAL WASH:

That should be 10:1 dilution of 10% Povidone Iodine. So, 1 tsp of the iodine mixed with 8 tsp of water.

Thank you to Dr Paul and the knowledgeable posters here.

I also do prevention washes, but could nose and mouth wash for prevention, prevent needed innate immune system training? Also does innate immune system training only matter for the unvaxxed?

the following excerpt from - https://www.rintrah.nl/convergent-evolution-is-bad-news/

SARS-COV-2 is getting better and better at surviving in our bodies, by learning how to more effectively suppress our innate immune response. Again, this is why you want people to get infected with the early variants. Their innate immune system gets the training it needs, so that it’s not caught unprepared by the next variant that is even better at avoiding the innate immune response. We know a lot about the adaptive immune system, but the innate immune system is far more diverse and complex than humans care to understand, it’s worthy of a post of its own at some point in the future.

You also have to remember that with the exception of the vaccines, almost anything you do that works to prevent you from getting infected by SARS-COV-2, would also work to prevent you from getting infected by anything else. If wearing masks actually works, then you won’t be infected by influenza, rhinovirus and numerous other respiratory pathogens either. That’s a bad thing.

At the end of the day, SARS-COV-2 is a respiratory pathogen. The other respiratory pathogens help train you body to deal with SARS-COV-2. Without regular exposure to them, you’re also at risk of autoimmune problems. You evolved together with the rest of your holobiont, exterminating the rest of the human holobiont isn’t just disrespectful, it’s a bad idea.

I wouldn't use iodine daily and folks with thyroid should be especially aware. But you can use Neilmed irrigation bottles with their salt packages or now new xylitol packages and distilled water few times a day. Been using Neilmed for ourselves for years. And ENT recommended for our son 16 yrs ago when a toddler with sinus infection . It's amazing for allergies too and staying fresh n clean.

Xclear nasal spray or Betadine brand cold defense nasal spray ( which doesn't have any iodine but iota carragean and sodium chloride ..is 👌

And then just use mouth wash few times a day.. that will be safer to use daily than poviodine iodine

There was once a Dr Been video where he discussed the various possible fluids for mouthwash. Listerine was also effective. Of course not suitable to rinse the nose. Good that you mention the thyroid aspect of iodine.

FLCCC only recommends only those sku's with cetylpyridinium included. Listerine brand and Scope offer some but regular sku's do not include it. Google it. They're on your pharmacy shelves but you've got to look for them (more expensive)

Does it really matter if you already have low thyroid?

Expand full comment

Don't use.. see above I posted alternatives to iodine. Ask your pharmacist too

I use hydrogen peroxide. 1/2 teas mixed w/8oz water, 1/2 teas kosher salt, pinch of baking soda. Warmed up for 15-30 seconds in a NeilMed squeeze bottle. Works great. Not medical advice of course. But I have been doing this for 17 years. Once per day as prophylaxis. 3x per day if allergies or sinus issues arise.

You're starting with 3% otc solution and diluting 1/2 teaspoon into 8oz water?

I agree that nasal/oral hygiene could have halted this in 2020. But I also worry about destroying our nasal/oral biome with hard ingredients. Saline isn't AS effective, but is probably more benign. Just something to consider as we talk about the importance of mucosal immunity. Is that maintained if we are constantly wiping it out?

You can use Neilmed irrigation bottle with xylitol packages that they now sell, instead of their saline packages.

It's a Natural sugar

I have Xlesr w/saline and xylitol, but may grab Neilmed for cost efficiency. Thank you!

Neilmed is a greater volume wash, so I prefer that over a little squirt spray, especially if you are congested or for sinus rinsing.

We use both too.. Betadine sore throat gargle actually is combined already at 1% poviodinone - iodine.. we use that prior n after large crowds.. not daily. Betadine also makes a nasal spray but it has not poviodine iodine in it, just brand name but it has iota -carrageeN also helps kill

Virus, that we use after Neilmed rinse only after crowds .

Neilmed now has made packages of xylitol so we use that too alternating with their salt pack. Can be more when exposed to greater crowds and use daily in winter months when more indoors. Neilmed is safe for daily use even for little kids and ENT docs love it too..

I’ve been using this but stopped for awhile and did get Covid. I took ivermectin and HCQ for 5 days (early b/c I had it on hand) and was completely over it in 4 days. (I also used the nasal spray and mouthwash when I was sick). I did not get very sick. Kinda like a mild cold except for the headache and body aches). Since we can get Covid more than once, probably using it daily in Winter is a great idea!

Curious where are you obtained ivermectin?

Many on line Drs will prescribe it. Try FLCCC Or myfreedoctor.com

Now Democrats will ensure a shortage of povidone iodine either at source or Buttigiege will tie up cargo shipments offshore.

1% Povidone not 10% prescribed by Dr. Kory and Dr. McCullough. FLCCC gives measurements in protocols.

I've been doing the nasal iodine every day that I'm out around groups now for many months. This should have replaced masks long ago!

Expand full comment

How exactly do you apply it nasally, please?

Expand full comment

I just put 1 part povidone iodine to 10 parts water in a shot glass and dip the clean end of a q-tip in it and swab it around the inside of my nose. It seems to work when I feel a cold coming on. I dont do it that often as I'm not out in the public that much.

Expand full comment

I just spray it into each nostril and grab a tissue and dab the liquid as some comes out. It lasts up to 8 hours though. You can find it online and it's already in a nasal sprayer.

I used Povidone Iodine 10% and it work for the most part, until I came in very close proximity to someone infected and non symptomatic. That's just one data point, I know.

Correct. Any greater concentration and it will burn. That’s how you know it’s too much. According to the doc that gave me the formulation many years ago.
