It works for preventing a multitude of viral & bacterial illnesses. I saw people even today outside in Florida with masks on. A guy with a green N95 like the ones issued at hospitals. You can’t even breathe in those. I bet he has worn that thing repeatedly. I wanted to tell him your mask will make you sick before the air around you will.
Scrubbing bubbles for the sinuses! Amazing how simple remedies and hygiene save so much misery. Black seed oil mixed with fish oil a teaspoon each swished in mouth is making my gums healthier too. The combination tastes better than either one alone, IMHO.
I credit mostly P-I pre- and post- treatment to why I had such a mild (2 1/2 days) case of Omicron BA.1 which I recovered from on Jan 2, 2022. I have used it since but now I believe I still have natural immunity to the latest variants, as I am always in contact with others.
Convenience is important and I believe my method is very convenient. Putting 3-6 tablespoons of 10% P-I (from Target) into a light colored one liter of mouthwash will make 0.45% - 0.9% P-I.
I use a cotton swab (Q-tip) to apply from the mouthwash cap to deep inside each nostril (tip head back). Can only tolerate for about 15 seconds when using as mouthwash.
Reducing viral load is the key. Let one's immune system do the rest.
You say povidone iodine OR hydrogen peroxide -- which is preferable? Also, FLCCC website tells how to do the povidone iodine rinse... what is the procedure for the hydrogen peroxide one?
Here are FLCCC nasal and oral rinsing instructions:
Gargling and rinsing (not swallowing, drinking) mouthwash solutions and using nasal sprays or nasal rinses helps reduce the viral load in the nose and throat, which in turn can reduce the symptoms and severity of disease. This is likely more important with variants that replicate faster and create higher viral loads. Povidone iodine nose spray/drops should not be used longer than 5 days in pregnancy.
Any mouthwash containing cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) has broad antimicrobial properties and is effective in controlling gingivitis and gingival plaque. Examples of mouthwashes with CPC are Scope™, ACT™, and Crest™.
Use 1% povidone-iodine commercial nasal spray as per instructions 2-3 x daily. If 1% product is not available, dilute the more widely available 10% solution and apply 4-5 drops to each nostril 4-5x daily for post-exposure prevention and the early symptomatic period.
To make 1% povidone/iodine concentrated solution from 10% povidone/iodine solution, IT MUST BE DILUTED FIRST. One dilution method is as follows:
First pour 1½ tablespoons (25 ml) of 10% povidone/iodine solution into a nasal irrigation bottle of 250 mL
Then fill to top with distilled, sterile, or previously boiled water
Tilt head back, apply 4-5 drops to each nostril. Keep tilted for a few minutes, let drain. No more than 5 days in pregnancy.
AND oddly enough (not) Betadine nasal spray does Not contain betadine/iodine. I realize I could make my own, but I found ePothex Povidone Iodine Nasal Spray (0.6%). I carry it with me in my purse and a bottle at home.
Multiple doctors say the commercial, non-food grade is fine. I've used it at 1.5% (half strength) mixed with distilled water and 1 tsp. Kosher salt per pint to make approximately a Normal Saline solution and used it in a nebulizer for COVID. It works great and gets up into the sinuses better than an irrigating nasal rinse. Opinions vary, but some sources consider 3% to be too strong to nebulize, even though some doctors say it is okay. I find it too irritating, and I have heard of it causing lung injury if used frequently for extended periods. But research shows that anything less than 1% H2O2 is less effective at killing pathogens. So the best idea is to stick to the 1 to 1½% range for contact with delicate mucous membranes or lungs. For nebulizing, make it into N.S.

So, my son believes I'm just exhausted from work, but I haven't felt well in over 3 days.
Have taken a mittful of vitamins, no help.
Going to try your protocol but question: I only have the topical 3% H202 in stock, not food grade.
Preservatives (additives) in it?

That's sort of how I use H202 as well: but directly on my toothbrush, along with a dab of fluoride free toothpaste.
My teeth appear almost "fake" white. (Been using that protocol for 35 plus years.)
BONUS: Instantly disinfects my toothbrush too. 😉

Premixed already to 1% poviodine iodine by Betadine.. (the gargle or their throat spray )
But the nasal spray contains only iota carragean..
Wonder if we can't just use the gargle 1% and qtip to nose ?
