As a Substack author whose site has experienced encouraging growth in part because of Paul’s numerous “plugs” of my articles, I’d like to publicly support Dr. Alexander in this skirmish with Sage Hana.
I think Paul just wants to fight crimes against humanity (and stop the mRNA vaccines). I don’t know of another Substack author with a large audience who has made more posts trying to help other Substack authors in our same fight.
Paul is not doing this to help himself. He’s trying to help others, people he thinks are engaged in the same “existential” battle against authoritarianism and bogus “science.”
If Paul has steered new readers to Sage Hana’s site (which he no doubt has) - and Sage’s site isn’t a good fit for these readers, they can unsubscribe as fast as they subscribed.
In my opinion, the “Big Picture” Battle probably hinges on growing the audience of Substack contrarians or independent writers. If the MSM is completely captured (which it is), we have to expose more citizens to writers who do and will challenge the authorized narratives.
Many talented writers have yet to “be discovered” or aren’t reaching enough people and Paul is trying to help many of these writers.
Paul also posts more stories per day than probably any Substacker … so nobody is going to agree with every one of these articles. Still, I think it’s a good thing Paul is exposing so many Substack readers to so many different voices. To me, Paul’s tireless efforts qualify as noble and even selfless.
Of course, if Sage Hana is put out by so many of Paul’s readers coming over to her Substack, she can certainly post a “cease and desist” article. Like Paul, she’s not afraid to ruffle a few feathers. (Although Paul makes a good point - at least everyone knows who he is.)

I can relate to Paul because I too once got into a skirmish with Sage Hana. My offense was that I defended Tucker Carlson - or thanked him - for talking about some of the taboo Covid topics when he was still at Fox News. If I understand Sage's position correctly, Tucker is "controlled opposition" and I am thus a dunce to support or follow him. I guess, somehow I am being "controlled" because I like some of the monologues Tucker did attacking bogus conventional wisdom.
I don't know if I "won" my skirmish or not. She (ah, he) is not backing down ... but I'm not either.

Sage tried to get into a debate with me, but he couldn't handle being taken to the woodshed by someone far more experienced in the GAME he/she is attempting to play.

But I agree that's usually the fist thing the "free speech" people do - ban your comments. I was banned at Dan Rather's Substack after making one contrarian comment!
That's also why most mainstream news organizations did away with Reader Comments. Or those that still have them only allow paid subscribers to post and someone "moderates" the posts. That is, someone gets to decide whose comment gets published and whose does not.
The obvious take-away: They didn't like all the powerful rebutals they were getting from smart readers.
It's the rare human that can discard their entire reality even when faced with overwhelming evidence of its falsehood. In desperation most will grasp as straws to retain some semblance of order.
Rarer still is a human that can do it twice inside a few years.

While I do like listening to Tucker he never seems to go for the obvious/logical "kill shot" for any given topic. Makes you kindof wonder if he is another Jordan Peterson (aka too good to be true). Amazing Polly has recently done a very good expose on Jordon. Only time will tell how accurate are her observations. Pax.
