I went to party last evening with over 100 people, mostly seniors. One of the guests was wearing a mask because her husband just tested positive for Covid. I told her her mask did nothing and to please get away from me 🤣 She should have stayed home. Good grief!

The standard for N95 mask is that the test particles are NaCL particles 70 nm to 300 nm (probably normally distributed with an average value of 135 nm), which are permeable to Sarscov-2. A non-woven mask that is cheaper than that is like a wire mesh. Non-woven fabric masks are measured by spraying polystyrene, which is easily charged with static electricity, and have a filtration rate of 95%, so it will not be possible to filter something that is difficult to charge like Sarscov2.
In addition, Chinese and Korean 95% indicated filtering rate products have a filtration rate of about 70% of the indicated rate when measured by the National Institute of Infectious Diseases in Japan.
