IMO any more than two parties is just begging for chaos. Just consider the international examples of this. It's not the parties that are the problem, it's the politicians themselves. And the intentionally ignorant people who do not inform themselves before voting for them.

Ah the old "if we could only elect the right people." You do know that both NCs of the uniparty can select any and all candidates they allow to run for office under their banner? So the likelihood of Mckennas or Kucinichs being elected in numbers to make a difference are slim to none under the current state of captured political parties and compromised office holders.

No...I was thinking more along the lines of:

If only citizens would do their civic duty by becoming informed voters.

Yes, that also.

Why? That'll just be more sell-outs crooks to rob us blind! There are other party options to which almost none pay heed now. Our Founders warned about parties, rightly so..

OMGourd, no. It will all just happen again. You are not reading things properly - it's the system! Using the same system will give the same results. This is elementary. Why are you so hell bent on this system that has nothing good about it? It steals from elsewhere just to make people "successful" in the western nations. No - the entire system is crapola. From a money system that is usurious to the idea that someone can represent you as well as thousands of others to the fact that it poisons everything including our air, water, skies and soil. It's just too stupid for words. It's the system for dummies.

They could represent us, if they shared our values; they don't! It's not the representative system that's wrong, it's the criminals we allowed to take it over generations ago, who are solidly in bed with the rest of the criminals globally.

Sandra I'm sorry it's not the people it's the system. Why are you defending the system? Do you have some kind of affection for it? It's a stupid system and totally irrelevant for today. It was cooked up when everything was different - no cars, no television, no chemtrails, not airplanes, where information moved at horse-and-buggy pace where now it is instant. There is no need for it anymore and that's why it's breaking down. But it's more than that - it's us putting our trust in people we can never know or speak to. It's dangerous because it is centralized. There is nothing good about this system - but to save shockwaves we need to be weaning ourselves off it by 1. Adopting a secondary calendar (and reclaiming our time) 2. Adopting a secondary currency that is issued by the sovereign individual and 3. Adopt a quality consensus system such as the Egalitarian Proposal System that is peer-to-peer driven, and not hierarchical. Hierarchy is THE problem. It's silly to be told what to do with our lives when we are adult.

Perhaps you're too young to have learned any honest history, which has not been taught in our schools for decades, so don't understand the difference between the Constitutional system itself, and the corruptions that have been added to it, done and allowed by PEOPLE.. The US Constitution, as given us by our Founders is the most "perfect" form of governance divided as yet, by humans. It provides individual citizens the greatest liberty and opportunity possible while maintaining a cohesive nation under rule of law. Now, liberty and opportunity are NOT "license" and "equity", as many seem to believe they are or should be. Greece tried a pure democracy: are you acquainted wit "mob rule"? That's what that system is. A Constitutional representative republic best protects everyone's rights. As for " knowing your representative", that's entirely up to each citizen! You can meet with and get to know your rep or not as you choose.

What there is "nothing good" about" is the people we the people have allowed to run it and seriously corrupt it for the past 150 yrs, and more. Did you know that corrupt Representatives in Congress, in 1871, voted to make our Federal gov't a PRIVATE corporation, no longer accountable to us? Did you know that by amending the Constitution in 1913, to hand out money and economy over to a private, foreign owned bank, our Congress abdicated 1 of its primary duties, and by altering, that same yr by amendment, how Senators are selected, the last shred of control over our gov't was severed? Did you know our Constitution, between 1865 and 1871 was "creatively edited", changing it's name, altering or even erasing ratified amendments, without going through proper amendment process, just as people are now trying to do to our 1st and 2nd Amendment rights, because they knew them, as now, the acts were unconstitutional and would never make the necessary votes to amend properly? That is not the system, it's the people; not just those in the offices, but the VOTERS who put them in those offices, usually multiple times!

There is no such thing as a "just consensus" system, a fact our Founders well knew, and sought to protect against. Do you know WHY we have an electoral college; what it's intended purpose is, and how it's been corrupted?

All these things you suggest are not new; as Solomon observed approximately 3K yrs ago, there is nothing new under the sun; all is vanity. They have all been tried and failed before, and the common denominator is the human heart (not the physical pump, but the psycho-emotional aspect). We were warned, multiple times to NOT trust it,that it's deceitful above all things, and human history certainly bears that out! Robespierre and his "liberté, égalité, et fraternité" are a perfect example of how and why.

BTW, I remember the time when not everyone had TVs, they were rare, expensive, small (7" round screen, but requiring a large cabinet full of cathode ray tubes to support their function), most families had 1 car, phones were party line and tethered to walls, and air travel was in its "toddlehrood"; it took 15 hrs to get from Heathrow in London to the brand shiny new international airport in the US, Idlewild ( you had to stop for gas in Shannon or Gander). I even remember when 1 crew broke that and brought Elizabeth's coronation film to the US fast enough to have it on the air in NYC in under 15 hrs ( that included transport from the cathedral in London to Heathrow, no stop for gas, developing the raw film in flight, and transportation from Idlewild to the studio in Manhattan, bucking westerly headwinds all the way). It as a very different nation and world back then, but the destructive changes to our Constitution came long before that. Not quite "horse and buggy" either though; they had trains and telegraphy already.

Sorry to disagree (and risk another 'mansplained' scolding), Milton.

But the reason JFK Jr "will not run as a Democrat" is NOT, as you stated, because "the issues he has presented are parallel to those of Trump" but because the Democrats want nothing to do with him. And his ego cannot tolerate that.

Junior is running a vanity campaign bolstered by disaffected Democrats, hoodwinked Republicans, and high profile figures in the health freedom movement who had been lifelong Democrats and who are still in thrall to the tarnished Kennedy name. Lest anyone misinterpret me, I don't count Dr. Alexander among these aforementioned individuals.

Democracy is a myth. The two party system was created by the cabal, Illuminati etc whatever you prefer to call them to give an appearance of debate and opposition. It’s been working well for a couple of hundred years to make you the same Coker’s believe that u have control over the direction of your life and choices.

Wouldn't make any difference. That party would get coopted and corrupted in a heartbeat... assuming it wasn't a total scam to start with.🤔😥🙄

But, is there really need for a third party, or is there something wrong with the system itself?

Does the US need a third party, or should we be thinking outside the box?

Expand full comment

Our forefathers warned of the dangers of parties. We are all seeing the corruption, the ineptitude, the inability to stay on a course of following the Constitution to the letter unless amended, the borrowing of money for assinine use by the federal government up to $33.4 Trillion federal debt as of this date, the debasement of the our currency which most everyone now is starting to understand the woes of a fiat currency not backed by gold 100%, and I could go on for days listing the issues. A third party? We have many. The Libertarians are a good example of a third party and the ineffectiveness of their efforts as the best funded and best supported albeit badly at that. I believe something different. I believe parties should be made illegal. A Constitutional amendment should be made to that effect. Those candidates who can get the attention of the population can battle it out for positions in government by vote. That same Constitutional amendment can declare only one term of office for every position in the federal government. THAT would be huge and effective to end many issues in voting. Another issue that could also be in that Constitutional amendment is that voting would be done once again by one day voting in person with hand ballots counted and citizenship verified properly for each voter doing a vote. Opinions are like assholes, we all have one, but mark my words, if this is not done soon, America will fall.

The Dutch people launched a political party and it won enough seats to block any globalist legislation from becoming "law." This situation forced the sitting WEF handmaiden PM to tender his resignation after reading the writing on the wall.

I voted for Trump both times. He is an ex-Democrat, a Republican now with a populist approach, but really he was controlled by his hand picked handlers as most US presidents seem to be. He had many good ideas and did very well in spite of the insiders who were there to curb his ideas, until the last year and covid was his downfall. I had much research available to me about the covid scare which was just a big propaganda lie to achieve the elites agendas of eventual world control starting with America. Trump either ignored the truth, or never did see it as he seemed totally inept and ineffective in his handling of Covid and the so called "vaccine", giving in to the so called "science" of those like Fauci and Birx, two of the most criminal proponents of the Covid scare. America is in trouble.

Another party won't solve the problem. Neither the R or D party represents the people at all, they represent special and corporate interests - fix that and you'll fix the problem. I think Bernie Sanders actually raised this issue. I don't agree with his politics, but he raised a good point. A 3rd, 4th, 5th etc... party will only cause more factions that in turn will increase the chaos as more special interests fight for control.
