I say people can be ignorant. Just not know what they don't know, whether by being too busy working, running errands, or just enjoying life. Then they can be willfully ignorant where they kind of know what is going on, but refuse to look further to solidly believe and shame on the willfully ignorant. Now I add that people can be dangerously willfully ignorant where their refusal to take the next steps to solidly learn what is going on makes them dangerous to themselves and to others. At one point it is better to stay away from the dangerous, willful ignorant.
