How long before Trudeau/Biden jump on this and bash the law to gain favour with Muslim voters that they ticked off over trans teaching in schools?

Good on the Swiss. It's their country. Nobody wants to emulate the US or Merkel's Germany, except maybe Canada. I hope Biden doesn't send troops to invade Switzerland .

Facial recognition doesn't work with a burka.

Justine Turdeau probably will start wearing a burka and order his security agencies to look into farcical recognition.

Hiding behind a burque is no lie for those sneaky dodgy "not to be trusted" individuals.

Switzerland is, of course, very beautiful and fun to visit. The food tastes great, too.

It does have a reputation for being expensive and difficult to immigrate to.

There’s no person living in a civilized country that can possibly agree w/ burka wearing. It’s a form of oppression of women and humiliating them.

It’s hard for us non-Muslim women to understand why Muslim women would want to wear burqas or hijabs. They look so very hot and uncomfortable. The only advantage is they hide a few extra pounds and you don’t have to worry about a bad hair day.

There are Muslim women who believe in wearing burqas and hijabs for religious reasons. If that is part of their religious beliefs, and if they want to wear them, and they’re not forced to wear them by some Muslim patriarchy, then I support their right to exercise their religious beliefs and wear what they want. I don’t want anyone telling me I can’t wear a cross-a symbol of my Christian beliefs.

I think this is more about the Swiss Government’s ability to identify and surveil people. Is Switzerland having a problem with Muslims committing and getting away with crime because they can’t identify them?
