I have just read Sebastian Rushworth's latest, where he connects poor sleep to the replacement of copper pipes and water bottles with plastic ones over the last decades.
I find it entirely plausible and likely now that our so called health and safety authorities haven't given a shred of thought about the consequences of such replacement…

I find it entirely plausible and likely now that our so called health and safety authorities haven't given a shred of thought about the consequences of such replacements, let alone done any investigations.
As for the media, health profession, politicians etc.: total failure too.
Before Covid, I would have supposed that they had at least been on it, now, I know much better.
And that even if they had been, they'd had taken the various forms of bribes by big business to wave it through, of course.
