However, as a _verb_ it appears that the word was first recorded in 2011, and it has been used at least a couple times by Trump since then. How many times does a new word need to be used before it becomes acceptable grammatically (even if considered offensive)? Who knows.
I think we all understood its meaning as Dr. A used it. I believe that's what matters with regard to informal language and communication, whether grammatical or not.
(Even though I'm a stickler for proper grammar and punctuation in formal usage.)
