If you deported the illegals in CA, all the public schools would lose most of their funding and collapse. That's why the teachers unions are behind this and how all these institutions work together. When our kid was at a public school, entire families of non-citizens would show up to eat breakfast in the school cafeteria, including what must have been grandparents. Then, the school cancelled all advanced classes because they had too many kids who no only didn't speak or write in English, but didn't even write in Spanish, so there was too much to catch up on. So they chose to cut classes for the competent to try to salvage the lowest performers. I literally heard a teacher says that she was so exhausted trying to do her "allyship" at the same time as teaching the "privileged" kids, that she'd decided to stop doing both. She said, "Let the privileged kids parents worry about them." That's when we pulled our kid. The admins want the illegals because it bloats their budgets and the teachers want them because they don't have to teach. A million more examples of how this disaster will effect our country for generations to come.
